The Patriarchal Edifice in Bkerki witnessed the wedding of Wassim Salibi and Rima Faqih who have chosen their motherland, Lebanon to get married.
The Maronite Patriarch Bechara Boutros El Raii headed the ceremonial mass held at Patriarchal Edifice Church, beautifully decorated for “the Wedding of the Year”.
The ceremony was attended by a number of personalities from the official, social and art circles and was followed by a legendary celebration at Château Musar in Ghazir.
A considerable number of stars from Lebanon and the world celebrated the royal-like wedding of Wassim and Rima, characterized by elegance and class. Among international stars who attended were present: The Weeknd, Belly, French Montana, Massari, Waka Flocka and Gipsy Kings who came to Lebanon specifically for the occasion. From Lebanon, stars like Hayfa Wehbi, Wael Kfoury, Guy Manoukian and Joe Ashkar were also present, as well as international figures in the worlds of music and production.
Rima Faqih was breathtaking in her wedding dress designed by Elie Saab. Wassim was fashionably dressed by Dolce &Gabbana.
Wassim Salibi is an international producer and musician who left Lebanon to Canada at the age of 15 and travelled between the United States and Canada in his artistic career. He established some 10 years ago the company “SAL&CO” which launched big names such as The Weeknd, Belly and Massari into stardom.
Rima Faqih was elected Miss US 2010 after being Miss Michigan in 2019. She was named among the top 100 Strongest Arab Women in 2011 according to Arabian Business. She participated in the reality TV show “The Choice” on Fox television in 2012 and in the Lebanese “Dancing with the Stars” show in 2015.
